The 190-section rear tyre on both bikes is highly effective at flinging road spray, grit, and debris at the shock absorber and linkage, which can result in damage. For RS riders running the sport suspension setup, that could be particularly costly.

Offering added protection while remaining inconspicuous, the Shock Shield is manufactured from highly durable rubber, tough enough to handle a battering from even heavy road debris, and paired with a precision-moulded ABS mounting panel for a secure, integrated fit.
