BMW’s R 1300 RS sport-tourer is capable of covering some serious miles, with one caveat: the lower engine casings and exhaust downpipes are fully exposed to debris, gravel and spray thrown up by the front wheel.

Pyramid’s new Belly Pan covers the underside of the boxer twin engine and forms a solid shield between the casings and whatever the front tyre throws up. It also guards the exhaust downpipes from repeated stone strikes and road grime that cause corrosion and damage over time.

Designed specifically for the R 1300 RS, rather than being a one-size-fits-most compromise, the Pyramid belly pan offers a clean, precise fit that works with the bike’s existing lines, rather than against them.

Made in the UK from durable ABS, the Belly Pan is coloured and textured in matte black to match the bike’s factory finish.

It mounts to existing fixing points, so no drilling, cutting or modifications required, and it can be fitted at home with basic tools.
