Maxxis has introduced the next evolution in its sport tyre lineup: the SUPERMAXX SPORT, which has now become the original equipment fitting for the BMW F900R. Incorporating advanced engineering technologies, SUPERMAXX SPORT is designed and tested to deliver outstanding wet grip, superb high-speed stability, and a high level of cornering performance.

Available in a wide range of sizes, with two front sizes 110/70R17 (54H) and 120/70ZR17 (58W), and from 140/70R17 (66H) to 200/55ZR17 (78W) for the rear options, the SUPERMAXX SPORT covers a broad spectrum of sport motorcycle fitments. It is designed for riders who demand easy control, absolute confidence, and sport-focused riding performance.

Three newly developed tread technologies have significantly enhanced overall performance in both dry and wet environments. Its high drainage pattern design greatly improves wet-grip performance by accelerating water evacuation once the water film is broken. Compared with other tyre products, the SUPERMAXX SPORT demonstrates stronger road contact and grip in wet conditions.

By applying pattern stiffness variety technology, the shoulder-groove stiffness is reinforced, which helps improve cornering stability and reduces uneven wear. In addition, the cornering force dispersal technology further boosts performance by transferring cornering forces from the grooves to the slick zones, allowing more balanced force distribution and enhancing cornering grip.

The SUPERMAXX SPORT has passed a comprehensive series of tests at the ARTC performance tasks, including DHC, NVH and high-speed circuits. These evaluations confirmed the tyre’s exceptional handling precision and reliable stability.

Since 2018, MAXXIS has joined a development journey with BMW Motorrad. In 2021, the collaboration expanded to the supply for the CE04 electric scooter. Now with the BMW F900R, Maxxis equips three BMW models with OE tyres.
