MOTOREX enters 2026 with strong momentum as it closes in on the remarkable milestone of 200 titles in world-level motorcycle racing. SUCCESSFUL STARTS TO MOTOGP™ AND AMA SUPERCROSSThe new partnership between MOTOREX and Red Bull KTM’s MotoGP™ team got off to the perfect start, with Pedro Acosta delivering a stunning victory in the opening Sprint of the year. Acosta then charged to a second-place finish in the Grand Prix to leave round one as the championship leader – a first for him, KTM, and MOTOREX.
In Moto2™ and Moto3™, MOTOREX maintained machines secured further podium finishes. CFMOTO Aspar Team’s Daniel Holgado placed third in Moto2™, while his teammate, Máximo Quiles, narrowly missed out on victory in Moto3™ by finishing second. The Supersport World Championship also fired into life two weeks ago, with Feel Racing’s Philipp Öttl beginning the campaign with a strong runner-up finish in Australia.
Over in the USA, Red Bull KTM’s new signing, Eli Tomac, has won half of the AMA Supercross rounds held so far this season, placing him second in the standings. Tomac’s most recent victory came at the iconic Daytona Supercross, where he extended his tally of wins at the grueling event to eight. With nine rounds remaining, the American trails the championship leader by just a single point.
MXGP BEGINS WITH MOTOREX SUPPORTED CHAMPIONS AND CHALLENGERS LINING UPThe 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship began in Argentina, with defending MXGP champion , Kawasaki Racing Team’s Romain Febvre taking the podium with a well-judged second place and MX2 champion Simon Laengenfelder taking a clean sweep of both motos on his Red Bull KTM.
MOTOREX ENJOYS STRONG PRESENCE AND NEW PARTNERSHIPS IN ENDUROIn April, the MOTOREX supported FIM EnduroGP World Championship gets underway in Italy. Red Bull KTM’s Josep Garcia, the reigning EnduroGP and Enduro1 champion, starts the season focused on adding to his tally of seven world titles. Garcia will face strong competition for the EnduroGP crown from new teammate Andrea Verona, as well as TM Boano Factory’s Zach Pichon and Sherco Racing Factory’s Hamish Macdonald. LETTENBICHLER TARGETS HARD ENDURO TITLE NUMBER FIVEThe FIM Hard Enduro World Championship also springs into life in April. Defending champion and MOTOREX ambassador Manuel Lettenbichler starts the campaign as favourite aboard his Red Bull KTM as he looks to secure a fifth consecutive title. Mani’s closest challenge will come from Husqvarna’s Billy Bolt, while Sherco Racing Factory’s Teodor Kabakchiev is expected to battle for a place on the podium at every round.
